All submitted pieces will be “for sale” within our zine. Currently the zine is being sold at printing cost - with no profit for the curators or contributors.

Works selected are final and cannot be replaced by other versions once the deadline has been closed.

Artists’ retain copyright of all submitted work, but artMEAT is granted limited permission to display submitted images in our zine, website, print collateral, display images, and/or additional event promotional materials. (If you do not want your artwork on any marketing materials, please contact the editors and we will ensure printing is zine-only)

Artists’ information information will be used to credit you and your works. If you wish to remain unidentified, please contact the editors.


By entering, artists agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Released Parties (Sponsor, Sponsor affiliates, etc) from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, either at law or in equity, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with the submission or delivery, mis-delivery, acceptance, or possession.

artMEAT shall not be held responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled, delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, distorted, damaged, illegible or incomplete entries; (b) any disruptions, injuries, losses, or damages caused by events beyond our control, including, without limitation, theft, vandalism, or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials; or (c) any printing or typographical or other errors in any materials associated with the zine after the deadline.
